The Yoga Hangover Juice Recipe


We can personally attest to this juice recipe as being the ultimate yoga hangover cure. It is the perfect antidote for post-yoga workout muscle fatigue, directly targeting sore muscles.

This is because of its incredible anti-inflammatory ingredients: ginger and turmeric.

Even more amazing, by sprinkling some black pepper on top, it will actually help to activate and heighten the health benefits of the turmeric.

Though arguably not the tastiest ingredient, turmeric is a super powerful anti-inflammatory. The main property in turmeric is called curcumin, which gives your immune system strength to fight any infection and pain that you may be experiencing. So we can definitely say that the healing properties of turmeric are worth the sacrifice! Plus, in this recipe it is deliberately offset by other delicious ingredients.

Similarly anti-inflammatory in nature, ginger also works wonderfully to improve digestion, soothes the stomach, boosts the immune system and protects your body from viruses and bacteria.

The Recipe



1                                  cucumber

1 1/2 cups                 pineapple

1                                  green apple

1 cup                          spinach

1                                  lemon

1 tbsp                         fresh ginger root

1 tsp                           turmeric

pinch                         black pepper





Serving: If you have limited access to fresh turmeric, add the powder instead, and mix well with the juice. Sprinkle with black pepper.
